This has been one of the craziest weeks of my life. Â Hunkering down at home. Â Attempting to do a little schoolwork and keep a semblance of a schedule in play. Trying to work with several new “coworkers” around (aka. tween/teen who turn every room they enter into a disaster area). Â There’s plenty of humorous posts on social media to remind me we’re not in this alone.
Yet still. It’s hard, isn’t it? Â Social distancing stinks.
My daughter Annie has had an especially difficult time adjusting to the “new normal.” Â FaceTime with friends and phone calls with grandma just don’t quite fill the social hole in her very extroverted heart. Â She misses school. Â She misses playdates. Â She really misses her friends.
My guess is many of you have an Annie or two in your house too. Â Kids miss their conversations and banter with peers just as much as we adults do. So I figured one small way we could help our kids stay connected (and help them practice those writing skills!) would be to send notecards to friends and relatives. Â You might have to explain what a postage stamp is and teach them how to write an address again, but wouldn’t it be sweet for your friend, or grandma, or favorite aunt to receive a little note in their mailbox?Â
To help with this project, I designed some little cards, featuring happy little llamas. Â And of course, I added cheesy little llama sayings like “Sending You A Whole Llama Love” and “Love You a Llama.” Â (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)
I mean, who doesn’t love a llama, right? And we could all use something lighthearted to keep us smiling these days.Â
If you’d like to grab a set of llama cards to use with your kids, you can grab the free printable by clicking on the blue button below. Â (If you need ’em, you can grab some notecard envelopes easily here.)
(Downloads are only available to More Like Grace subscribers: By clicking the download button below, you consent to OPT-IN to our email newsletter with monthly encouragement and freebie news. Unsubscribe any time.)
CARD SIZE:  The cards measure approx. 3.75 x 5.25, which fits size A2 envelopes.  Or you can print at 90% and they will fit in standard #6 business envelopes, which you might already have on hand!
Have fun spreading a whole llama love!

Use these free printable Scripture cards as bookmarks, Bible memory work, encouragement for a friend . . .  well, you get the idea.
