Pretty Floral Free Printable Scripture Cards

A fresh spring day shines outside my window as I’m sitting down to type this post.  Birds chirp sweet little songs.  The sun rests warm fingers on my shoulder.  Tree branches wave hello in the breeze, showing off the hundreds of bright green buds waiting to burst into leaf.  Nature’s reminding me of new beginnings this morning–inviting us all to remember that

even in times of adversity, we’re still surrounded by God’s abundant love.  

That’s why I’m excited to share this new printable with you today.  These free printable Scripture cards feature two of my favorite things:  Sweet, colorful flowers and promises from God’s heart.  With all the upheaval and heartache brought to us by Covid-19, I think we could all do with some encouragement, yes?

So I guess it’s no surprise that as I sat down recently to design a new Scripture card set for my Etsy shop, I found myself turning to Bible verses with encouragement themes.  I know I’ve mentioned this before in my posts, but one of the reasons I love adding flowers to my designs is that they remind me of God’s quiet ways, how He brings beauty out of what’s dirty and decayed.

Flowers remind me to hope, to wait for the next blooming, even if all I see right now looks muddy.

I finished up my set of 12 printable scripture cards and added them to my shop, but I wanted to offer a few of the designs here for free here on the blog, in hopes that these encouraging verses can find their ways into more hands and hearts.  You can grab these free printable Bible verses by clicking the button at the bottom of this post
